I can finally put away the lightning rods and stop sending Stevie to the brain repository. My car started and ran today. It only ran for about 10 seconds, then Stevie had to shut it off due to a major fuel leak. Gasoline spewing out under the hood is never a good thing. After I get the rest of the gremlins chased out, I'll post some final pictures.
Update 19-Aug:
Started, ran, set the timing everything is cool.
Okay, here is the picture:

good stuff, will it still be as scary to ride in as it always was when finished....or perhaps even scarier due to its sheer, naked, raw, infected, puss-laden... wait let me backtrack there, um ...oh yes; powerful smoov-itude-ity-ness

good word nate. i like how it still needed the "powerful" in front of it though, to make it sink home. i saw a karmen ghea today... almost inquired about the price. looked like it needed some work but i have always wanted one.
how long has this car been in the works dave?
It's been about a year since I took the motor out. I could have done it faster, but I wanted to spread out the cost.
To answer nate's question, it should have much more power. The scariness will depend on who's driving.
yeah, i seem to remember the scariness being mostly linked to the driver. but then again i do like roller coasters so...
